In partnership with Bore Place we’ve created this superb collection of Local Kent dishes. Using seasonal produce from Bore Place organic farm and market gardens and other carefully selected local suppliers we’ve created a 2 course menu for those who appreciate tasty local menus.

This menu does not include alcohol or drinks. However, talk to us about our rustic and local bar services. We can supply a range of local drinks and can manage and run your wedding bar.

CANAPE | Beef Béarnaise
Skewers of Bore Place beef cooked medium rare and served with a succulent Béarnaise Sauce dip

MAINS | Roasted Southdown Lamb
Our own South Down lamb marinated in garlic and thyme then slowly roasted.

DESSERT | Garden fruit Pavlovas
Towers of Pavlovas filled with fresh Bore Place soft fruits and a raspberry coulis with a Kentish cream.

Fresh baked bread served warm to guests

As a treat we also include a variety of local artisan breads cooked fresh on your wedding day. All served with nasturtium infused butter, smoked rapeseed oil, dukkha, and smoked salt.

Grazing Station

A popular choice for the evening frolics. A selection of local Kent cheeses and Kent charcuterie meats traditionally garnished with fruit, nuts, seasonal accompaniments and home made chutneys.

Mini Fish and chips

(+£7.50)
Fresh seasonal fish from Hastings enveloped in beer batter, with chunky chips and mushy pea fritters. Taken around to guests in wooden usherette baskets

We offer a range of drink and rustic bar services which focus on local beers & wines. And with all our weddings we offer a non alcoholic cocktail, such as our popular homemade Elderflower cocktail.

No corkage
Home Gurr’own and Bore place do not charge corkage. You are free to use our drink services or if you prefer bring your own wedding drinks.

All your wedding ingredients are close at hand. Bore Place grows many of your ingredients on its organic farm and market gardens. This means you your wedding menu is not only busting with flavour but supports the wider farming community. Thank you.
